After working as an urban planner in the US, I returned to Brazil in 2006, where I owned and operated a successful RE/MAX franchise in Rio de Janeiro. Running a brokerage gave me a sharp, ground-level understanding of how markets move, how clients make decisions, and how to aggressively protect their interests through every stage of a transaction.

I am also a LEAD.org Sustainability Fellow, belonging to a global network dedicated to sustainable development. Today, I use this unique expertise to help my clients cut through "greenwashing" and practice what I call Smart Money Thinking—looking beyond the listing price to evaluate what a property will truly cost, protect, and return over time.

Instead, it represents a living value: a framework of space, relationships, and abundance. While every client prioritizes these living values differently, one baseline remains completely unyielding: the rigorous protection of your capital.

In 2019, I relocated to Portugal with my wife and two young kids in search of a better quality of life for them — and we found it. Having personally navigated the complexities of moving countries, living in both Lisbon and Cascais, and building a new life from scratch, I deeply understand the emotional and financial stakes my clients face. I haven't just studied the relocation process; I have lived it.

The School System: My children have actively studied in a public, IPSS (cooperative), and private Portuguese schools in both Lisbon and Cascais.
