Everything you could want in a real estate agent, and more We’re new to Portugal, and this was our first home purchase here. Irina Oliveira at RE/MAX Tomar made it feel easy. I’ve bought and sold 9 homes over the years, and I’ve never seen an agent work as hard as she did. She listened carefully to what we wanted, then went out and found it. Choosing Irina as the agent to sell our house has been one of the best and important decisions we have made. From the start we were very impressed with Irina's knowledge and professionalism. Her attention to detail meant that the house was expertly prepared and perfectly staged for viewings. Irina was also a huge help with some paperwork issues we encountered and even accompanied us to the local Financas to resolve one issue! Viewings were organised for maximum effect and we could see that the interaction with prospective buyers was at all times professional and friendly. We received our first offer very quickly but encountered some issues with cadastro mapping which left us facing a possible long and expensive delay. Irina worked tirelessly to resolve this. Just when we had accepted that a sale would take some time to achieve, Irina somehow agreed a sale with a new buyer and at a higher price! We concluded the sale within weeks. We can't thank Irina enough and while her expertise and ability is obvious, she is also a warm and caring person who cares about her clients and completely empathises with the many scenarios sellers in Portugal can face.
